Recently, Mayor Adams passed a “Small Business Forward" Executive Order, in an effort to help small businesses in New York City operate easier and more successfully. The order will work to remove current penalties and decrease fines associated with owning a small business. ⁠

This order will be especially beneficial for female small business owners, small business owners of color, and LGBTQIA+ small business owners, who have all been immensely affected by previous laws and regulations. ⁠
