Yum Brands Fights Gender Disparity and Shortens Their Deadline to 2025

Yum Brands strengthens its commitment to decreasing the gender parity gap by committing to a new 2025 deadline, sooner than the original 2030 goal, for its plans to do so.

Last year brought the percentage of women in leadership to 47% at Yum Brands (earlier than expected) while the Covid-19 Pandemic disproportionately affected women overall generally increasing this parity.

The company also has plans to build diversity beyond gender in its leadership, executive, and franchisee sets by including more diverse leaders of minorities including LBGTQIA+ individuals and various racial and ethnic backgrounds.
