It’s no secret that times are tough for restauranteurs, and female-owned restaurants are far from exempt from the current difficulties facing the foodservice industry. Regarding Her, or RE:Her, a new all-female organization based in Los Angeles, CA, plans to jumpstarts some aid with a 10-day festival in January, planned to coincide with a time of year that would be slow even in a normal year.
Programming will include thematic menus, conversations with industry leaders, and chef collaborations across the city, currently experiencing record-high rates of COVID-19, with most businesses shuttered to prevent the spread.
